Everyone Cried At My Graduation Party

Ok. Due to the fact that this is my first post and I just made this blog yesterday I am going to talk in brief about the past week. In the future however I want to try to update once a day or every other day.The day of my graduation was actually June 5th but we didn't have a graduation reception till June 13th. It was so great to see all my family! Some of them traveled from far away and others made a shorter trek across Texas. I got to see my aunts and uncles, my cousins, my grandpa, and all the second cousins too:) I am so, so, so, glad that we had fajitas instead of the original plan of BBQ. It was such a blast to see everyone! My dad opened the floor up for people to say something about me and how we met or how we impacted each others lives. When my dad spoke he cried then my little sister Margaret wanted to say something too which just made everyone else cry some more. Then as my dad was about to close the floor a woman who I didn't know stepped up to say a few words. I had no idea who this lady was. All I knew was that she was there and worked with the Bell County Youth Fair (where I have been a participant for years now). She was there to tell me that I had received the Bell County Youth Fair and Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship!!! Boy is that a mouth full! But I was so shocked and surprised when she announced it! Then later I found out that my mom and dad already knew about it and that it was extremely hard for them to keep it a secret from me. So the first day of being graduated was a fabulous one. I know I am very blessed to have these people in my life and all of them have been wonderful to me. And as of that day I had acquired $15,300 in scholarships :)
